IMAP’s Licensing Day is designed to help medical professionals who are making Aliyah by summer 2026 move forward with the Israeli licensing process before their arrival.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were forced to push off MedEx that was originally scheduled for March 15. While we encourage you to come on the rescheduled MedEx on May 31 and take advantage of the full job fair, we realize that some of you may need to start their licensing process much earlier. In order to help accommodate those on a tighter schedule, we are opening an opportunity: IMAP’s Licensing Day!
If you are a physician or medical professional in the final stages of Aliyah planning, and want to advance your licensing applications with the Israeli Ministry of Health and Israel Medical Association, this event is for you!
Please note that this is a licensing-focused event only, intended specifically for those preparing to make Aliyah in the near future. Participants who are earlier in the exploration process, or want to open their file at this event but are still interested in employment opportunities are strongly encouraged to attend the main MedEx event, including the job fair, on May 31st, which offers broader programming, employer meetings, and career guidance.
Please review the checklist below that is relevant for your specific medical profession, and begin to gather your documents. Additionally, we request that you fill out this form prior to the Licensing Day in order to best streamline the process on site (nurses and psychologists only can skip this form).
It is extremely important to prepare your documentation in advance, and we are here to help! Feel free to reach out to imap@nbn.org.il with any questions.
We encourage you to begin the specialty recognition process prior to Licensing Day, which you can do by uploading your documents to the IMA portal. Please refer to this guide for a step-by-step process of how to fill out the relevant forms. The IMA will not be collecting documents on site! If you’ve started an IMA portal ahead of Licensing Day and need help, our staff will be available to help you with your application – reach out to us for more details.
