Who needs to do Hitnasut Clinit (clinical work time)?

Some physicians (depending on country of study) may be required to complete a clinical work period of approximately six months in Israel under supervision in a hospital setting in. For those required, this is a key step in moving forward in the licensure process. If you need help clarifying your case, please be in touch with us at medpro@nbn.org.il

Hitnasut Clinit and Hatama

The time you complete under Hitnasut Clinit may overlap with the required observation for the recognition of a foreign specialty (Hatama period). In order to do this, you need a decision letter from the IMA for specialty recognition requirements and a decision letter from the Ministry of Health regarding Hitnasut Clinit requirements, to be handed into the hospital you wish to complete these clinical periods.

Exams at the End of Hitnasut Clinit

The exam at the end of the Hitnasut Clinit is oral and only offered in Hebrew. The Shlav Bet exam (if you’ve been required to complete Shlav Bet) is as well.
